Label THIS.

Remember the 7pack of undies you would get from Kmart back in the day?? You know, it would have Monday-Sunday on there. You would wear the correct pair on the correct day, just cuz I guess...until you got annoyed and just put on whatever was clean. I mean I had a Panda Bear 7day, a Strawberry Shortcake 7day....and many many more.

Anyway, take that concept...but into labeling what you are putting on. Rock & Republic has just launched a new basics line called 'The Plain Wrap Collection', in which they have labeled everything. Shoes says 'Sneaker', jeans say 'Jeans' etc...etc...

According to WWD, it’s the latest move by the Los Angeles based premium denim label to evolve with the jinxed economy. Rock & Republic’s Plain Wrap Collection is said to have a lower price point, and will feature T-shirts, jeans, hoodies, windbreakers, leggings, along with a wide variety of basics.
Founder & Creative Director Michael Ball Tells WWD:
This is a new initiative with a new perspective for the consumer that wants fashionable basics with staying power, This is just the start of something bigger, a collection that will evolve and grow with the addition of new product categories in future seasons.”

I like the idea I guess. And that's what fashion is anyway, making something old new again.
