Chloe, can we be friends?

Chloe debuted their Fall 2009 collection in Paris last week and one must say it was a vast improvement from Spring 2009. The collection was another 80's revival, but the sophisticated kind.

From Style.com, "What came out for Fall was a soft version of the early eighties, all big blanket coats, high-waisted fluid pants, wrapped belts, and, for evening, a much-needed dose of the easy glamour ChloƩ has been missing."

For those of you who do not know, Chloe has been going through head designers faster than commentators on the View, finally settling on Phoebe Philo's apprentice Hannah MacGibbon. She seems to be getting a grip on the brand and the image she wants to portray. The clothes are fit for a sophisticated woman in her late 20's, circa 1982, with an attitude like Glenn Close from Fatal Attraction.
