Bump In The Night.

Are people still talking about Lady Gaga? I've been so out the loop as of late...I can't be sure.

Anyway, she's landed the cover of OUT Magazine, plus a spread. I like the pictures, they seem to be channeling the whole vampire...spooky Frankenstein thing.

Side Note: I heart True Blood.

Tailor-Made

H&M has released the pictures for their Fall 2009 collection. They are focusing on tailored, classic looks, soft colors, refined cuts and details, innovative shapes and proportions, and new blends.

"The result is an inspiring collection with endless possibilities for personal expression and style."

H&M's Head of Design Ann-Sofie Johansson says:
"Tailoring is back on the fashion scene. Classic staples are the obvious choice, but updated and re-modelled".

From the website:
-Tailoring is dramatic and elaborate with new shapes and contrasting proportions for women. -For men it's all about sleek tailoring with a rock' n roll attitude. Styling makes the difference, adding bold accessories to staple pieces.

Ooo La La. Stay tuned for more exclusive pics from other H&M Departments.

Celine
Kiraro Graffiti Print Cut-Out Sandal

About $1250

Mind over matter ladies. If you can afford this, can you wear this? The shoe is crazier than any Marc Jacobs creation, higher than any Manolo, and more exclusive than any Christian Louboutin.

The sandal has a cut-out section within the platform and a unheard of open section in the center of the sole and sharp angular heel.
Standing 6 inches high....you may end up taller than Shaquille O'Neal. Made of 100% graffitti print leather, inspired by African Tribal drawings. With a clear nod to 80s hip-hop.

Aye dios mio.

Jimmy Choo for H&M

Although I'm only 25...I think I just had my first heart attack. And no it's not from the $2 vanilla ice cream cones I've been getting from Dairy Queen as of late.

I just got word than Jimmy Choo. Yes....thee Jimmy will be teaming with H&M come November 14th. Now I know why I work for this "Trendy Prison". For reasons such as this...for purposes like high-fashion for less. Ay dios mio. I'm excited.

So Mr. Choo will be doing a shoe line (of course), a clothing line, and a collection of bags and accessories for the masses. Men and women....

From: www.dailymail.co.uk

Jimmy Choo's president Tamara Mellon said today she felt honoured to be among the fashion greats who have been affiliated with H&M.

'It's such a privilege to design a collection to appeal to fashion savvy, street smart women.

'Jimmy Choo will bring to H&M a sophisticated, fashion forward, accessible and glamorous collection - the perfect party pieces to wear out at night,' she added.

Margareta van den Bosch, creative advisor to H&M, said today that the collaboration with the top end brand is 'a joy'.

'We adore Jimmy Choo’s shoes and bags. They are glamorous and sexy, and they add instant style to the simplest of outfits.

'It's particularly exciting because it’s our first shoe designer collection.'

I, in the meantime, will try to relax and catch my breathe. I think a small vanilla cone is in order.
