Tailor-Made

H&M has released the pictures for their Fall 2009 collection. They are focusing on tailored, classic looks, soft colors, refined cuts and details, innovative shapes and proportions, and new blends.

"The result is an inspiring collection with endless possibilities for personal expression and style."

H&M's Head of Design Ann-Sofie Johansson says:
"Tailoring is back on the fashion scene. Classic staples are the obvious choice, but updated and re-modelled".

From the website:
-Tailoring is dramatic and elaborate with new shapes and contrasting proportions for women. -For men it's all about sleek tailoring with a rock' n roll attitude. Styling makes the difference, adding bold accessories to staple pieces.

Ooo La La. Stay tuned for more exclusive pics from other H&M Departments.

Technicolor DreamCoat

Matthew Williamson

Resort 2010

Matthew made it big while designing for Pucci, became famous after his collaboration with H&M, and stole my heart after I saw this collection. Enjoy wild kaleidoscope colors, sequins jackets, and beautiful bold bags. I'm happy to see so much color after all the khaki focused collections pushed in our face thus far for Resort 2010.

According to Williamson, the clothes were all designed, according to the program notes, for the customer off to her next "hedonistic glamour destination."

Jimmy Choo for H&M

Although I'm only 25...I think I just had my first heart attack. And no it's not from the $2 vanilla ice cream cones I've been getting from Dairy Queen as of late.

I just got word than Jimmy Choo. Yes....thee Jimmy will be teaming with H&M come November 14th. Now I know why I work for this "Trendy Prison". For reasons such as this...for purposes like high-fashion for less. Ay dios mio. I'm excited.

So Mr. Choo will be doing a shoe line (of course), a clothing line, and a collection of bags and accessories for the masses. Men and women....

From: www.dailymail.co.uk

Jimmy Choo's president Tamara Mellon said today she felt honoured to be among the fashion greats who have been affiliated with H&M.

'It's such a privilege to design a collection to appeal to fashion savvy, street smart women.

'Jimmy Choo will bring to H&M a sophisticated, fashion forward, accessible and glamorous collection - the perfect party pieces to wear out at night,' she added.

Margareta van den Bosch, creative advisor to H&M, said today that the collaboration with the top end brand is 'a joy'.

'We adore Jimmy Choo’s shoes and bags. They are glamorous and sexy, and they add instant style to the simplest of outfits.

'It's particularly exciting because it’s our first shoe designer collection.'

I, in the meantime, will try to relax and catch my breathe. I think a small vanilla cone is in order.

Oh Yes They Did!

Excuse me? H&M has leaked some official photos from their Fall collection. And I know what you're thinking...#1 Dang it isn't even summer yet, wtf?...and #2 How the heck did I get these photos? Both questions should be answered by Dex.com. He he he...

Anyways, please take notice of all the extra cute stuff H&M is dishing out this September and October. They have hit major trends like sequins, fur, chandelier necklaces, and plaids. And did you notice the Balmain knock-off jacket???? I told ya'll it was going to trickle down and be everywhere. I HEART the black pumps with diamond-encrusted heels, and that Louis Vuitton knock-off sequins jacket thingy.

Be expecting these items in the stores probably by mid July...because as you know, big trendy places like H&M don't waste time.

Matthew Williamson for H&M: Man Time!

Is it just me, or is the Matthew Williamson for H&M Men's collection, way cuter than the women's line he released in April? Well here comes installment number 2, featuring a Men's collection and Women's Swimwear Collection.

I want everything...including the sexy man in those Speedo shorts. Yum.

The Men's collection is set to debut May 14th...I hope I work in the store that day. Nothing is funnier than seeing men go crazy for clothes. They're worse than us ladies.
